AntibioticsHave saved many lives, kill infections of dangerous bacteria. But the upshot of high use of antibiotics is super bugs or antibiotic resistant bacteria. Eventually the bugs develop resistance. So its back to the drawing board and the hunt is on for more potent types of antibiotics which in turn will become resistant and create more superbugs and it all becomes a viscious cycle. Makes you wonder if they're on the right track after all. So what's the alternative? The human body can resist disease if it has optimum nutrition - and this is what is missing in today's medicine which is driven by pharmaceutical interests which can only make money from patented drugs. Any type of potency from good nutrition is played down for fear of losing market share. Yet I have found that as Bechamp and some of his contemporaries said, that the germ is nothing, the soil is everything. Modern medicine should be looking at nutrition and the soil.
http://childhealthsafety.wordpress.com/graphs/ Vaccines Did Not Save Us – 2 Centuries Of Official StatisticsThis is the data the drug industry do not want you to see. Here 2 centuries of UK, USA and Australian official death statistics show conclusively and scientifically modern medicine is not responsible for and played little part in substantially improved life expectancy and survival from disease in western economies. The main advances in combating disease over 200 years have been better food and clean drinking water. Improved sanitation, less overcrowded and better living conditions also contribute. This is also borne out in published peer reviewed research:

http://www.naturalnews.com/031287_pharmacogenomics_medicine.html Pharmacogenomics, the next frontier in medicine? Are we ready to leap into pharmacogenomics when we haven't even mastered nutrition? The late Dr. David Horrobin, a psychopharmacologist and a pioneer in the field of essential fatty acids, asked the quintessential question in his article, "Why do we not make more medical use of nutritional knowledge? How an inadvertent alliance between reductionist scientists, holistic dietitians and drug-oriented regulators and governments has blocked progress." He was probably frustrated with being misquoted so often over the years, thus he made his point perfectly clear in the unwieldy title of his paper. Why do we not make more medical use of nutritional knowledge? How an inadvertent alliance between reductionist scientists, holistic dietitians and drug-oriented regulators and governments has blocked progress.2003: The British journal of nutrition 2003;90(1):233-8.
Super weeds in agricultureSame situation is happening with super weeds and high use of herbicides. Plants are being genetically bred to have resistance to certain herbicides, they then spray the field with a herbicide which kills off all the weeds, while the genetically bred plants survive the herbicide spraying.
So with the continued use of herbicide the weeds develop resistance and we
get superweeds.
